    Todd,

The author of the Breakwater letter to the editor is Jane Issa of the Issa Family. Couples Resort founder (and other AI hotels in Negril and elsewhere) Abe Issa started the All Inclusive Hotel idea in JA. Although Ms Issa's points are compelling I do not notice any mention of the impact to the environmental area that development and land / water usages create. Having beautiful resorts and beach front property aside there seems to be an erosion problem. If it ain't broke don't fix it, but if it's broke and you don't fix it, it stays broke. Wish I knew the answer as Negril Beach is a great place!!!!

Historical correction....the first AI in the world was the Frenchman's Cove Resort in Port Antonio which was built and owned by Garfield and Grainger Weston.
