The cold fronts have been effecting the Negril temps. Today's high was 26C or 79F. Right now it is 25C or 77F. It should hit 24C or 75F tonight. The coldest I have ever felt it in Negril was abour 63F or 17C. That includes all the December's and January's in the last 20+ years. Here is some historical info:
"Temperature throughout the month of January daytime temperatures will generally reach highs of around 30°C that's about 85°F. At night the average minimum temperature drops down to around 22°C, that's 71°F.
In recent times the highest recorded temperature in January has been 34°C that's 93°F, with the lowest recorded temperature 17°C, about 63°F."

It has never been 50F or 10C in Negril. As Capt says, temperatures may dip below 50F or 10C at the peaks of the Blue Mountains or maybe Mandeville, but never in Negril.
Negril.com - For the vacation that never ends!
Rob, after the nearly -40 temps this week, and the ice covered roads that made driving hell, even 10C is looking fine by me! See you in just over 14 days - I will be the blue lump on the beach with a sign that says "Thawing in Progress - Please do not touch until fully thawed"! You can, however, feed me a rum punch to assist the thawing process.![]()
Beautiful weather 12/26 - 1/4. Came home to 20 degrees in Nashville.
