I have not been for several years and am wondering the same. I researched the Marleys and others that have been there in the past tour dates but this venue seems to be a secret until the last minute. ( In the US we plan to make the most $ in advance.) Maybe JA is different, it could be they plan for the people that live there. The only thing I am seeing so far is there might be announcements Jan 15th. Hang in there. JA is totally different than other places about venue announcements. Maybe someone there will reply when they see a billboard.
I think that they wait to see who is going to be round for it and even then, it is 50/50 if they will show up!!
I saw Lee Scratch Perry last year. Had no idea it was an annual week long thing. I just booked feb 1-7 but first 3 nights in mobay to relax a bit. Good to know there will be some shows to see besides the normal local acts. Still hoping Bunny plays at jamaica tamboo.
No refund for the no show either :-( They should make the headliner go on first to end the BS of venues making up headliners/headliners not showing up/any other F-ery with people paying for something they are not getting.Originally Posted by lavins
