    Transporting vitamins

I will be coming to Negril soon and I take daily vitamins. I was thinking rather then bring all those bottles, I would just bring what I need in a bag. Could this be a problem?

I didnt have a problem coming to JA, only getting back to USA in customs in Ft Lauderdale. They searched all of my bottles and asked very detailed questions about each pill.

Interesting, I've never had that happen. I usually just bring what I need as far as Rx meds.

We've always brought whatever vitamins and OTC meds we need in one pill container. Never had a problem. For any controlled substances (pain meds), the actual prescription bottle is brought.

This is what I do and never had any problem ever in 20+ trips. I pack the daily dosage of vitamins in individual plastic or foil wrap and there could be 14 little packs in a ziploc bag. I grab one packet each day and take them. I have nothing left at end trip end, and have done this in carry on or checked luggage. Never questioned ever. You won't have a problem, in my opinion. I have brought some back home, too and never questioned, even if I was randomly stopped by TSA.
