VVHT - we've only stayed at Coco once but it was quite nice. It does include a breakfast that I think was referred to as 'Continental' (my memory fails me, sorry). We used the allowance for that and upgraded for a full breakfast most days. Getting one of the beachfront rooms with a patio would be terrific.

The beach at Coco is far superior to the beach at Travellers and is far better located, keeping in mind you want to stay on the beach.
If you are worried about something, do something about it. If there is nothing you can do, why worry!

Should also keep in mind the river sewage back-up into the ocean especially after a storm... I've seen it really really bad down by Travellers- but no trace at CCLP..Definitely something to consider...

That "run off" as you call it is from the morass, which naturally creates that color. Any "run off" from a storm would be from the farming up the hills beyond the Great Morass. The treatment plant was designed with hurricanes in mind - there is no "sewage back-up' unless there are incredibly heavy rains for several days as a hurricane would produce and a warning would be made. A storm would NEVER produce that.

Please lets keep the facts straight.

Here is a link explaining the issue that was started by someone at Coco...

It's not a quick walk, but I've read there is a cambio next to Bourbon Beach. We always just taxi to the Scotia Bank at the roundabout.
