Route Taxi Question

Looking for advice on taking a route taxi to little bay. Is this possible? Where do I catch taxi? How much should I expect to pay?

If you have to ask then maybe you should just hire a chartered ride. If your not aware, visitors using route taxis is a somewhat controversial topic on this board.

Kevin is spot on. My friends just arrived yesterday first timers took what they thought was a legit Juta bus and the driver took them only half way to Negril told them to transfer to another Juta to arrive Kuyaba in Negril cost was $140.00 one way for two people. Big rip off if you are not familiar so beware!!

Little Bay is a few miles off the main road. I agree with Kevin.

From your post you're not too familiar with the route cab system.

Get a private ride. I suggest my son Linston

Always ask price before u ride and be specific . I'd even do the money exchange prior to boarding. And there is lots of posts that explain the do s and don't s they helped be big time to learn the ropes or get linston . He is highly recommend on this board and is reasonably priced and honnest

Do a thread search on Route Taxis. You'll find plenty and I mean PLENTY of discussion.

I know wasn't thinking when I posted this. That's why I try not to ask anymore questions on here. Just had a little memory slip there.

If you want to go by route cab here's what you do. Stand on the road and soon a redplate will come along and take you to the taxi park at the round about.

From there you'll need a taxi that goes past the deep West end, past the Westender out toward Blue hole. Little bay is on the coast past the turn off to Blue Hole.

Not sure how many routes go out there.

You can also go by way of Little London but that's even less traveled by red plates I think

Thanks Capt I think I will talk to Linston about it when he picks me up at the airport. And thank you for just answering my question I just wanted to know if it was possible to do or not as I can't afford to private cab every time I want to go somewhere. The way you explained it it's probably easier to do with private driver.
