Gov't Mule does their Island Exodus show at the Grand Lido, around this time every year. I wasn't there, but I follow the Mule on Facebook and from what I can see from pictures/video it was an awesome run.

I would love to attend this show sometime, but I can't bring myself to stay at the Grand Lido in order to get admission to the shows. I have heard of some people that hired a glass-bottom boat to sit out in the water by the Grad Lido and listen to the music. Supposedly the sound is pretty good as it bounces off the stage backdrop, towards the water.

The Zack Brown band does something similar in the Dominican Republic, but I'm not sure of anything else like this in Negril. IMO, the package prices for the Gov't Mule event were pretty expensive, but they are AI and include special daytime events like drum clinics and afternoon acoustic performances. I kinda wish they would have an a la cart option to purchase just admission to the concerts. I would even buy a day pass to the Grand Lido for $150, if it included a Mule show.
