Birthday Trip- Part 2 More strange happenings in Negril

Tuesday:
I walk up to Auntie's to help a fellow boardie out with a request. Looking for something not too touristy, I get some breakfast to go from Pilot's power walk back.
Here's where it gets weird. I'm walking down the beach later when I hear my name being called. I turn around, there's only a small list of people down here that I would even know.
Turns out it's my buddy John who I haven't seen in 10 years. He's had land down here for decades. He and his wife used to own and run a fly fishing resort on the Yellowstone and we became good friends when we were living near there. A mutual love for subs and golf, necessarily at the same time, had us on the same page.
Turns out this is his first trip here since 2004 and he and his wife are staying a few doors down. It's their last night at the beach, before moving up to Moondance Cliffs, so I forgoe my craving for 3 Dives and we just walk down the beach to Rainbow Arch for dinner. Nothing like going out to dinner on the beach without even bringing shoes.
