tonight and tomorrow its all about the blues baby!
Good Saturday night show - wish I was there
Just a personal opinion but.....
Lord knows I "luv dem Reggae" but having a Blues Club (in my opinion) would be a real treat and quite successful.
Like going to Scott's Cove on the Westmoreland-St. Elizabeth border and finding jerk chicken when dozens of people only sell fish and bammy.
In my likkle mountain home, many of the residents listen to Soul and Old School Reggae and Ska anyways. Often you can go for a week at a time and never even hear a Reggae or Dancehall tune being played.
Jamaica is more than Reggae and someone needs to tap into that market.

A couple years ago, we were on the beach and a couple of musicians (older fellows) strolled by. I asked them to play some Mento. Their faces lighted up and they played enthusiastically for quite a while. They said, "All we get is requests for Reggae." As Accompong says, Jamaican music is more than Reggae.
dang I missed the show
Awesome Blues last night at Seastar, man that Cheryl Lescome has some pipes, what a treat to hear them all...loved it.
