Great pics! We have had pretty much a waste of a winter here so far! Not much snow when we do get it(1-2inches), then it melts. Would rather see lots of snow and be able to do winter activities instead of staring out the window all winter! lol
February 28, 1987.......will be back for our 28th in 14 more sleeps. Too bad the T Water is no more.

Hey Johng, what's up with Wilberts hair in that pic?? Maybe he had a rag or something on his head? I remember him riding or rather running that donkey up and down the beach! And boy did we look like kids, but I guess we actually were.......ah youthDid you ever buy anything from Crooksie, the Carver?
And this is one of Michael, Chris and our good friend Campbell from probably '86 in what I think is now called Whoopies hammock park.
...and Michael and Campbell last year at 3 Dives

hey_mon,
Looks like Campbell is about to become a JET??? Maybe time for the Jamaican Hockey Team (somebody has already tried organizing a bunch of JamaiCanadians???)
The wood carver guy looks familiar, didn't buy any carvings but I do believe I bought a ring from him (cow horn with black coral inlet). Michael (old pics) looks familiar too. We must have crossed paths somewhere along the line???
Wilbert's hair??? maybe a tam or hat but knowing him maybe he thought going blond would be more fun??? Or a disguise?? HAHAHA!!!
3 weeks is awesome! I would love to do a long trip again!![]()
Campbell is such a sweet person. Our friendship with him goes back over 30 years! Michael and his buds met him their first year down in 81. They were down for 3 weeks and running out of cash, thought they had brought enough, but you know, anyway, waiting for money to be wired down, walking past a yard he was in and they started talking, said they were waiting for money and Campbell invited the three of them in to have lunch with him and some Rasta friends!! 30 some odd years later, and we break bread every visit, sometimes on us and sometimes on him!...He sent me home last year on our flight Saturday with two large ziplocs of prepped and cooked acki for breakfast Sunday morning with our kids. He is a true brother from another mother.
I am sure you could have met Michael, as he is always eager to meet new people, very out going and has a most infectious laugh! And we were around Miss g's a lot the first few years we went down, early 80's. I was the quiet half!
Wilbert......definitely disguise! He was such a bad boy! He is still around as far as we heard last year, but have yet to run into him. I do go have coffee or a beer with Miss g's grandson or nephew, Barry each year. He has Barry's Bold As Love Guest House's (former "Ms. Gloria's Sunset Cottages") in the same local, but alas, not a-frame!! Such a landmark on the beach back in the day!![]()

Hey Wisconsinite,
You will when the time is right!
3 weeks is awesome and just right for me. Long enough to relax and ready to get home to some of the things we take for granted!!!! And we do need to keep enough holidays to still get out to and enjoy our cabin in the summer for a week or two! Summers in Manitoba are beautiful and hot and we have such wonderful lakes, but they are never long enough for all the things you need to accomplish around the campfire, on the beach, going to music festivals and playing in the mud/gardening!
