Arrived Friday and the airport was packed, traffic was awful, but no worries! So happy to be back at Coco LaPalm, beautiful as always. Enjoyed a romantic Valentine dinner at Charela. As I sat on the beach yesterday, so many memories flooded over me...all the years and friends we've come to know here, some still here going about their routines and some who are strolling the beach in the great beyond. Some things change yet so many remain. Grateful for this chance to relax, be warm and enjoy this beautiful piece of the universe!

Trish, hope you have a great time. Staying at Coco for the 1st time this June. If you have a moment, would you please let me know where on the property rooms 430 and 432 are located. I believe they are superior rooms on the 1st floor near the pool. Hoping they are closer to the beach than the road! Also, need recommendations for the following near Coco:

1) lunch and dinner
2) massages
3) Store for bottled water and snacks

Your rooms are near the beach. You can get a massage right here at CLP, hop a taxi to Hi Lo supermarket, you can get anything you want there. We go to what is referred as the Chinese store for beer. Enjoy your trip, our first stay at CLP was June 1996, shortly after it opened.

It's a few years old so the newer rooms aren't on it, but the rooms you are staying in are. We used to stay in jr. Suites but last time stayed in a superior due to cost and wanting a roof over our patio. Room 521 is now our favorite. Great access to the beach, and if it rains we've got cover to hang out on the patio.
