I love me some Jamaican coffee, but I would walk clear across the property for it. That's not enough to make me choose 9 over 10.

We generally prefer upper level rooms, because it usually means better views. However, it would be a lower priority then balcony/patio size. If its not big enough for us to eat meals on then we probably won't get as much use out of it.

The rate structure at Le Mirage actually increases with the higher floors of the hotel. I guess they found that people will pay a premium for rooms on a higher level. I'm one of those suckers.

Whoa! this adds a whole new wrinkle. By sundeck, do you mean balcony/patio? I thought 7, 8, 9 & 10 each had private patios or balconies. This might be a factor as the wife likes to have some private outdoor space.
