#9 has a slightly smaller room and patio. But it's closer to the coffee!
#11 room and patio are slightly larger but the view is partially blocked by trees.

I love me some Jamaican coffee, but I would walk clear across the property for it. That's not enough to make me choose 9 over 10.

If second floor is not a priority then #10 is a good choice.

We generally prefer upper level rooms, because it usually means better views. However, it would be a lower priority then balcony/patio size. If its not big enough for us to eat meals on then we probably won't get as much use out of it.

The rate structure at Le Mirage actually increases with the higher floors of the hotel. I guess they found that people will pay a premium for rooms on a higher level. I'm one of those suckers.

Whoa! this adds a whole new wrinkle. By sundeck, do you mean balcony/patio? I thought 7, 8, 9 & 10 each had private patios or balconies. This might be a factor as the wife likes to have some private outdoor space.

Sundeck = patio. It isn't private in the sense that you/your wife are hidden from view but IIRC the others have kind of a community patio where 11 has a low wall that would discourage any other room from using it if that makes sense.

Personally I prefer room #9. Always nice air flow and two big windows for more natural light than room #10. Never needed the AC once in 3 years when going in Jan/Feb
