Has someone in Negril changed your life?
In 2006, while snorkeling between caves, I hit my head and was knocked unconscious. Our glass bottom boat captain, Ziggy, was snorkeling with me. He pulled me up from the water I had sunk into and brought me to higher area on the other side of the cave. A couple of puffs of his into me and I was back. I owe my life to him and will be forever grateful for him. I tried to find him in 2008 and was told he was in St. Thomas.
Anybody else have a story of someone from Negril who changed your life?

Re: Has someone in Negril changed your life?
A fisherman saved my life many many years ago when the rented sailboat I was on took on water. It was a sailfish and out off the cliffs it flipped and I could not get it back up because of the water in the hull. It was getting dark and I was drifting on the upside down sailfish. I took off my shorts and screamed and waved my shorts as I continued to float out further and too far to swim back. I was crying to be honest and was wondering why nobody missed me at the rental place as I was well past my rental time. I was burning in the sun and was drifting out and further west. I was also affraid of the sharks if there were any. Almost dusk and a fisherman and his son spotted me and they towed me back to shore and out of the increasingly choppy sea. God bless them forever. Thanks for asking and for sharing your scary but wonderful story in the end of how the Jamaicans will be there for us always and in such compassionate ways.

YES! My baby!
But on a serious note my mother had a diabetic attack and they did everything under the sun to get her what she needed which was candy, they swim to shore at Rick's in rapid time...It was a life or death situation and because of them my mom is alive! Forever grateful for them...Respect.
