White Sands VS Negril Palms ...need Pros/Cons

Hey there Boardies...



Need help on choosing between the two.... THese are the only ones in my price range on the beach. -White Sands @ $74 night and Negril Palms @ $85 night.... Just me and my best friend... Usually stay at CoCo.. but they want$200/night.....My dates are 4/1/15-4/5/15 (high season unfortunately )

Any advise on the two? Whats your experience staying there?

White Sands has a way better bar setup..If you go to the Palms..pay the little extra and get the deluxe rooms..no Tvs in rooms at White Sands unless you get apartment..Standard rooms at White Sands are across road..pain to cross in my opinion...

Honey I have stayed at both and White Sands is the one I would recommend. I have nothing bad to say about the Negril palms except since the ownership changes a few years ago it seem a little run down. White sands has a way better location on the beach also. Great staff, bar and vibe. You will like it.

Try The Donaldson's Inn .......... right next door to Negril Palms

Thanks for the info.... White Sands is sounding pretty good., no TV in the room is NOT an issue, never in the room that long. Are there safes in the room? Is there a pool? ...

You and your best friend, trust me on this, you will love White Sands. Rooms are clean with great ac, and a balcony or patio. A small fridge, and the house keeping is great,
Theres rooms on the beach side, or across the street, I prefer the beach side. The ladies in the office are wonderful, and they have safety deposit boxes in front that you will
get a key for when you check in. The bartenders are great, and the security is great also. Leedon, the day security is a wonderful man. that will watch your things while you are swimming.
They also have a restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. There is a pool on the road side. The beach area is a real nice vibe to meet others...... Have fun !!!!

Am typing this note from my room at White Sands and I'll second that it's good. Very clean, comfortable, A/C works, plumbing/HW is good, staff are all friendly/helpful and close to great beach. Is not a fancy place, but that's never what I'm looking for.
