Pumpkin Soup

We were really looking forward to pumpkin soup this trip. Every place we ate had it last trip. Been down here since last Saturday and still haven't had it. What restaurants serve it?

Like a lot of the experiences in Negril, Pumpkin soup is fleeting. That is what makes things sooooo special. Pumpkin soup at every restuarant one year... then you don't experience it again for as few years. Same can be said for great hot jerk pork at Red Dragon only to be followed by a bad then great jerk experience at 3 Dives or DeBar. For a few years, Erica's and Archway Pizza were "go to" places, then it became LTU and Pee Wee's. Just realize that it won't always be the same, different experiences every single year is what makes things sooooo special . We're in the single digit fidgit. Can't wait to get there on Wednesday afternoon!!! Whooo Whooo. Rob & Lisa, we'll see you next week!!!

Alfred's has a great chicken pumpkin soup several times a week. It's a chunky soup with cut up potatoes, carrots, chicken, and I think yams. LTU's soup is more of a broth but very good.

We had great pumpkin soup with red peas at Ras Rhody's earlier this week. I think Sips and Bites also makes pumpkin soup.
