    Little Bay

So I am trying to do some things this trip that are more off the beaten path. So I have been searching about Little bay area. My questions are is there nice beach area? Bars ? As I would like to to sit on beach and do some bar hopping. Any info and names of places would be helpful thanks John

You can also check out the Coral Cove website in our Hotels section - they are located in Little Bay. They are friendly people and can give you some great ideas on what not to miss.

Little Bay is much more of a fishing village than Negril - kind of like Negril was back in the 50's. There are only a few bars and restaurants - a complete bar crawl can be done in a day... (grin)

Perfect I think that's exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks Rob. Capt I was planning on having Linston drive us anyway so that's perfect.

Little Bay is wonderful! Bar hopping can be a little odd though. Places tend to close up early if they have no business.....so bar hop during the day. Make friends there....the locals can hook you up with rustic on the beach lodging for under $30 and fruits of the island for a fraction of the cost of Negril. Ask around for "Boot" if you are looking for a tour guide to see the bat cave, Bob Marley's summer home, Marley's mineral bath, the race track and all of the other hidden attractions. If you have a surplus of $$$ Coral Cove and Coral Cottages have some sweet rooms and wonderful properties.

Transport over there can be a little pricey (I'm cheap), about $20 during the day....much more at night. Some drivers that are all anal about getting dust or mud on their car are not shy about adding a surcharge. Route taxi and then a bike taxi is under $5 if you live on the wild side.

Cap, can you post or PM me what you folks charge to go over there for a 3-4 hour visit?
