Found this board via google search and have been reading about all the great places in Negril! We are planning our honeymoon in Negril and will be our first time there. Looking to stay 2 nights on the cliffs and 5 on the beach. So many hotel choices its hard to pick! Love music and food so if any hotels have music, that would be a plus...Appreciate any suggestions/tips/info! We will be in Negril from April 27th-May 4th. Thanks!
Depending on your budget. Rockhouse, Catcha Falling Star, Villa Sur Mar, Tensing Pen, penthouse at Blue Cave Castle. Beach - Idle Awhile, Crystal Waters, Firefly -honeymoon suite

The Penthouse suite at Home Sweet Home is stunning. Huge balcony right over the water. The suite has the entire seaside wall full of windows. Stayed there for two nights in January. It is a small, quiet property with great sea views. Close to Swordfish restaurant where I enjoyed lobster mac n cheese and yummy papaya daquiris on their rooftop deck, seaside. They have ample shrimp dishes (I believe you'll be there when lobster isn't available).
Depends on your tastes and budget, but my fave beach place is Country Country. Rustic chic cottages and great food. Full breakfast included. New pool. Lovely beach size per capita and gardens. Not a social hub, same as HSH but easy access for going out, and nice and quiet when "back home".
I highly recommend going to Drifters Bar for their jam sessions, Wed, Fri and Sun, 3-7. Good drink specials, wonderful vibe and live music.

We were married at the Blue Cave Castle during a weeks stay in the penthouse. Then we honeymooned for a week in a beach front suite at Tree House. And Tree House often has Groupon or Living Social deals which can't be beat!

If budget permits, two nights at The Caves would be a great experience.
For the beach, an ocean view suite at Idle Awhile or the Owner's Villas at Nirvana.
