Music Venues and Dates

Hi;

Arriving in Negril March 9th for 8 days at Treehouse, which after 13 Jamaica trips (8 to Negril) is the first repeat place we have stayed at. We think we have found our spot!

So we have 3 needs, beer, food and music. Got 1 and 2 covered but looking for an update on music. We are planning on Chronixx on March 12th at Rockhouse but am looking for what else is now hapenning and when. Weekly and special events March 9-17.

What I know (I think I do anyway)
Friday afternoon at the boat bar
Sat Evening at Seastar.
Wed Afternoon at Drifters.

What else, where and when-

We are there 8 days so should have time to get to all events.

Hey Cold I to like to know what events are planned. What I have discovered is that most places like Bourbon beach only schedule a couple weeks out so its hard to find a lot of info early. Unless its a larger event. Anyway that's my tidbit. Have a good time. Soon Come John

We are really just looking for afternoon, early evening music venues and schedules. We don't get to the late night stuff often as our experience is that late night usually starts early morning. The last evening concert we went to a few years back, Etana, was scheduled for 10. We figured it would start around 11:30 or midnight and she came on the stage at 1:15. Way too old for that.

So if anyone knows of regular daytime or evening music we would appreciate the info.

Cafe Goa on Sunday Brunch with Stormin' Norman's Mento Band (10:30am to 2pm), Monday's Steeldrum Band at Canoe for dinner, Tuesdays starting at 6:30pm at 3 Dives on the cliffs, afternoons on Weds, Fri, and Sundays at Drifters (2:30 - 6:30), Thursday's at Canoe with Sasanya (5pm) and Steeldrum Band (6pm), Thursday Jazz on the beach at Charela, Saturday Folklore Show at Charela and Sunday afternoon with Omar's Hiyah Grade at Fi Wi Bar (next to Bourbon Beach)

Thanks Rob!, Never thought of looking in the entertainment section for entertainment. Must be the bitter cold slowing me down.

From the looks of the list finding entertainment will not be an issue.

Lady J, you are right. I know in Moncton you expect a lot of snow but where we are on the Bay of Fundy this is not supposed to happen! Add in the bitter cold and it plain out sucks. Looking forward to Jamaica as always but the terrible winter makes it that much sweeter.
