How long of drive to Treasure Beach?

My husband and I were thinkng next reach ( only 90 days from now!) that we would go check out treasure beach. About how long of a drive from negril?

Thanks!!! We usually don't take many trips. When we first started going we had the best intentions. But now we don't even pretend- sand gravity takes over and we are content to not do much! We are there for 18 days this reach though - so we may go on a day trip.

We're going there this trip. Got a brief look at Treasure Beach on the way to the Pelican Bar but this time we're going to spend the whole day there checking out places to eat and stay for a future reach.

We went to Treasure Beach last night for the Morgan Heritage concert. Took us about 2.5 hours on the way there but only 2 hours to get back. There's wasn't much traffic at 2:00 am.

The south coast road is in terrible condition. Plan on taking the best part of three hours. Make some stops along the way to take a break from the bone shaking road. Consider visiting Lover's Leap while going to Treasure Beach. Both awesome places and worth enduring the terrible road.

Hmmm. When I went in December, we were pleasantly surprised at how much better most of the South Coast Road was compared to previous trips. Even laughed about how the really good road stopped just past Sandals Whitehouse. A bit rough through Whithouse, but other than that, I thought the road was in much better shape than in years past.
