Cole...that is essentially correct. The first couple of weeks into April you'll be able to get lobster at many restaurants, as they are allowed to sell their remaining stock. The restaurants are required to report what they have left.

According to this website, there is no lobster from April 1st thru June 30th.

However, restaurants may freeze lobster and serve it through the end of April.
