Trying to get Southwest to change our flight so we can get an extra day

Anyone remember an erriely similiar post from me in October? Except it was an 2 day extension, and Delta! LOL, these are the sorts of "victims of Jamaica" I like to hear about!!! I was smarter when planning my next trip....just made it ten days from the get go! October cannot come soon enough

Actually we met a lady on the beach who told us all about Kentucky Jamaica.

I was smarter when planning my next trip....just made it ten days from the get go!

I'm envious - I wish we could stay that long! We've never been able to do a trip longer than 5 nights. While I'm grateful for any vacation we get, 5 nights is just too short! Once you get into the relaxing vibe and shake off the stresses from back home, it's over! Our upcoming trip in May will be 7 nights and we can't wait! We are traveling over Memorial day so we get an extra day that we don't have to take off work. We own our business and it's just the two of us, so when we aren't working there isn't anyone else to cover for us. Maybe someday we'll be able to take longer trips, but for now we'll just enjoy every second of what we can get!

I was dedicated to coming back before I ever left the island last time. Our first trip was ten years ago and it took us ten years to make it back. I vowed that wasn't going to happen. However, my best friend decided to get married in Negril after hearing my stories, and asked me to be best man.....So now I HAD to plan a trip back. Its basically going to take all the vacation time my wife and I have acquired, but decided there was no place we'd rather spend it....and introducing newbie newlyweds to Jamaica is going to be all kinds of fun
