I've only been to Negril once (10 years ago) and I want my new bride to love it as much as I do so we can come back often. We are both fairly "quiet" people and I thought this would be a good way to get out of our comfort zone and meet some new people and see some places we probably won't see if we don't go on the crawl. I've worked in the "service" industry all my life so the whole tipping thing is irrelevant to me and I'm not wealthy by any means but $4 for a beer overlooking the ocean doesn't sound like the worst thing to a guy from the mid west. I also don't want to start a new chapter of my life on an accident waiting to happen Help me out here please.
Dan,

You gave the best reason to do this. Everyone has an opinion. I did it once and enjoyed it a whole lot. Personally, I don't really like hanging with tourists as I live in Jamaica but I met a nice group of people, learned of a few places that I haven't been before and also reinforced some opinions why I didn't like some places but all was good.

Do something once and they call you a "newbie", do it twice and you get promoted to "expert". Three or more times you need to see a psychiatrist!

Lenbert runs a good business and he takes care of his passengers. Overloaded? sometimes. But, after all, this is Jamaica and if you don't want an adventure stay at home and watch the Travel Channel.

Just my personal opinion.
