In late April 2013, we had reservations at Banana Shout for 2 nights before moving to the beach for 3 nights. We got to Banana Shout and were told they overbooked and they put us in Sunset on the Cliffs for a night (they claimed everyone else was booked). We had no interest in arguing and took the room at SOTC. Well, they must have put us in the worst room they had (I've read decent reviews of the place). For one, the shower head blew off and hit my fiance while he was showering! The only thing positive was the decent balcony view and the jumping platform into the water. We were too upset and tired after a day of traveling to argue about switching rooms so we just dealt with it for the night. In retrospect, we should have asked for a better room.
