Can anyone give me an approximate price on Blue Mountain coffee (e.g. Jablum) at HiLo in Negril? Any information is appreciated☺

Thought it was around $47 for a pound of beans. Go to the blue mountain coffee shop by hidden paradise and get fresh roasted blue mountain beans for $25
If you are worried about something, do something about it. If there is nothing you can do, why worry!
Ratty,
You can get very excellent Jamaican coffee at both the Blue Mountain Coffee Shop and Cafe Goa, but neither are "certified" Jamaica Blue Mountain like the "Jablum" brand you mentioned. Jamaica Blue Mountain® Coffee is a globally protected certification mark and only coffee certified by the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica can be labelled as such. This helps explain the price difference. But to my taste and cost, i prefer the hand roasted coffee available in Negril, but none can technically be called "Jamaica Blue Mountain."
CPJ (Caribbean Producers Jamaica) sells a brand called "Greenwich Estates Select" 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain to the local stores for around $35 a pound (when you can find it).
Negril.com - For the vacation that never ends!
Thanks to both of you.Rob thanks for that info.

Off subject a tad but one of my favourite memories is passing a late Sunday morning with a certain web caster at Cafe Goa drinking heavenly coffee and eating a simple egg sandwich. Priceless! They sell Jamaica Blue Mountainlike Homeroasted coffee beans for 20$us/ pound. I couldn't tell the difference.
I missed out on Cafe Goa beans last time since they didn't have any. Talk to them when you get there to make sure they have some set aside for you when you leave.
We picked up a pound of High Mountain coffee at HiLo back in November. I believe the price was $1400J. For the purpose of making coffee in our hotel room, this was perfect. If I were to bring some coffee back home as a gift, I would probably go for Blue Mountain.
IIRC, it was about $30pp at stores in and around Negril, $35 at the airport
Just sitting on my deck enjoying a cup of Blue Mountain coffee right now. Bought it at the HiLo yesterday. I got the 1 lb burlap bag of medium roast for $3158.91J plus tax.
