    Newbie

    Happy to join the board.

Couple from NYC making our first trip to Negril. Not interesting in any AI's - looking for a smaller place right on the beach. Considering Bar b Barn and Bourbon Beach.

I have had communication with a very nice Lady at Bourbon and yes I know they crank up the music every night - not an issue for us. I am also interested in any after hour places anyone could recommend as well - 0200 is a little early to call it a night while on a vacation after finally digging out from underneath the snow we have had the past two months. One last question for now....excuse me I am not usually so high maintenance - any recommendations for transfer from MBJ?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and recommendations.

I highly recommend Shane Taxi for any of your transport needs. Check him out on Facebook.
MiYard is a nice after hours place to hang out.

Welcome to Negril. You must be young, we can never make it past 10pm. You go kids! There' s lots of shuttles & taxis. $60 should cover it for 2 people one way. Good luck. Have fun. Make sure you shut the garage door. Respect. One love.

Question about exchanging money on the street? Why don't you exchange on the street?

Don't exchange $$ on the street because...
    1) you are flashing large amounts of cash in front of some random guy on the street.
    2) chances are upwards of 90% you are gonna get shorted, or worse.
Exchange your $$ at a cambio (ask your driver) or withdraw from an atm.
