    Re: Drinking in public?

Early trip while entering Hi-Lo grocery store, grabbed a cart and young man asked how many cases of Stripes I need. After he returned with a few, he reached in the cooler and grabbed a single and popped it open and while handing it to me he smiled and said "welcome to jamaica". I looked back like he was from mars, and he just said enjoy your shopping and walked back to register area.

A nice cold beer was a nice way to make my shopping selections and stroll around the store while shopping. He got a nice tip after helping me out and didn't even know that experience was instrumental in setting the "hook" thats kept me coming back to Negril for nearly 18 years. The second I step outside Sangster I can't tell you how truly free begin to feel.

Nice! And the service is always great at the Hi-Lo. Love that they often are passing out shots as well, letting vendors set up. The only time I have ever cussed them was when they ran out of bacon.
