I don't eat parrot fish or barracuda for the same reason. They can make you very sick. I also don't think there is a shortage of sea urchins in Negril.

I had a Jamaican friend who told me that at certain times of the year that barracuda can make you Sick. He said you have to test it. I asked how he did this. He replied that you place ants on the fish. If they eat it and live, the fish is ok. If they die it's no good.
