I walked trough Sunbeach to the road in august and they had all the rooms gutted and were putting in new patio doors and windows in all the rooms.
Just sad...this was the best spot on the beach - those beachfront rooms couldn't be beat! With those new prices - I won't be staying there again, and if the renderings on their website are correct, it looks like a fancy hotel in a cosmopolitan city - not a beach resort in Negril.
Have they torn the beach bar down yet? Will surely miss that, especially Maureen and Robert.

This will definitely be the part I'm going to miss. Lots of great times at that little spot. Anybody know what Robert and Maureen are up to or if they'll open somewhere else?
Turtle .............. weren't we going to settle a Vikings / Packer bet a For Real ? ? ? ? Out trips the last 2 years were cancelled due to family health issues which are now resolved ............. we are going to Negril March 2012 ............... You ? ? ?
