It is now 'closed season' for lobster...April 1 - June 30.

To help out...please do not purchase lobster from anyone during this time.
Restaurants are allowed to sell their legally declared stock until April 21st but after that, there should be no lobster available on their menus.

Saw a huge bag of fresh caught lobster last week and I was wondering about lobster season as I thought it was closed. Also saw the lobster guy selling it on the beach. I assume the season isn't very well enforced

Nicelady...it's like anyone participating in an illegal activity...some get caught, some don't...but it is enforced here.
We can all do our part by NOT purchasing illegal lobster...let those lobster reproduce and grow.
