The website mentions nothing about building in Negril. The news article does. I believe it is a great Idea.
With an emergency room this would address one of our biggest concerns about long term stays in Negril. But even more important, this would be a god send for Westmoreland and Hanover residents that have to travel to Cornwall Ragional or Kingston. Visiting your loved one in the hospital when they are at that distance can be a burden in itself.
I have won many awards in a lifetime of competition and service. But the highest was offered without plaque or fanfare on a hilltop in post Ivan Jamaica. A true Rasta and a dear friend observed "Chet you are like a father of men, you see need and fulfill that need without being asked". Let us be travelers and not tourist.
Right on! This is really fantastic news.
As someone who spent 72 hours in the hospital in Sav until I could be transferred UHWI and then to the States I'm very happy and thrilled for this development.
