We were sold on the west end since before we booked our first trip. The last few years we split our time with friends that stay on the beach but this year our entire stay is on the west end again.

Yesss! I was never a fan of the West End but had to try it just once now it's part of the planning!

If you go in November, particularly over Thanksgiving week, you'll see what amounts to a really strange extended family. Most of the people going over thanksgiving come year after year... This will only be our sixth at tensing (but well beyond that for thanksgiving week spent on the island). I commented to my wife las year, that it really felt like a family dinner on thanksgiving night.

As far as them being sold out for November, I am not surprised. We booked last year, while we were there and were unable to get our usual spot (red birch) as someone booked it literally the morning of the day we went to the office for our reservations.

That place is addictive... It literally pops into my head a few times a week. I daydream about napping in my favorite hammock hut with all three dogs keeping guard.
I'm going the week before Thanksgiving I hope it's a similar vibe to TP...and I went on and booked for April 2016 Boardie Bash!

I'm doing the spilt now but I'll probably start doing the entire trip on the west end unless my girl JoJo is at the beach she's the only one that can pull me away!!! lol

Thanks for the pics Irie. My wife and I stayed at Tensing last May and it sure was nice to see those pictures while going over month end taxes in my office this afternoon.

I know next time we go back we will most certainly stay at Tensing for part of our trip.

Little swimming, lots of drinking, Sips and Bites and then to Mi Yard. Man I'm so jelly.

    Have a great time!

You are most welcome ESparks451...Is Mi Yard walking distance from TP? Did you all jump the bridge?
TP will definitely be part of my stay for now onnnn! (If they not sold out)

I jumped the bridge numerous times. But my wife was too apprehensive. I wouldn't walk to Mi Yard unless it was during the day. And generally I am only at Mi Yard around 3-6 AM. LoL.
