Mystic Bowie is my friend and neighbor in Accompong Town who works tirelessly for the benefit of the Maroon Children. He has toured as the front man vocalist with the legendary Tom Tom Club (featuring former members of the Talking Heads) as well as performing with a variety of funk and rock units including the B-52s, Trey Anastasio (Phish) and Widespread Panic. Most recently he has formed a group called "Talking Dreads" who transform well known songs into a Reggae beat like Joplin's "Piece of my Heart" and Talking Head's "Psycho Killer".
