I think it's within walking distance as I've walked it quite a few times. If you're a walker & comfortable walking the West End road....it can easily be done. Coming from Catcha...3 Dives is just before Xtabi.

I've walked from Catcha to 3Dives many times but then again I've been known to walk from Alfred's to Ricks, with a short stop at Yellow Bird, Bourbon Beach, Travelers, Canoe, Xtabi, and Jenny's. You're right on about not walking out there at night. Not the best idea.

I mean, I've done it a couple times but it's a long walk. I'd guess 2-3 miles.
It looks like around 1.65 miles one way, at least according to Google Maps.

~Just my two cents worth - I mostly only comment on places I've seen and or eaten at personally.
I think when you start worrying about whether it is 1.65 miles or 2 miles or even 3 miles then you have to just say "Do I want to walk?" or "Do I want to take a Taxi?" Or as Dirty Harry sez,
