Jamaica time

thursday was a rough-day
for me
'cause
as you remember
i had been up all night

but i survived

the birthday thing-y
was cool
...a intimate likkle gathering with
some of that yummy-yummy Jamaica-style cake
with ice-ing

there's *something8 about the sugars, flavorings, ingredients, etc that they use down here that makes things taste soooooooooo much better/different, than what i'm *familiar* with.

down-side of the birthday party:::>>> it was on ""soon-come"" time

i was TOLD 3 pm
...didn't happen 'til 'bout 5:45 pm

this 'soon-come' thing takes a while to get use to
..in short, for the most part, in most instances,
it's not about when it happens
but
that it DOES happen.

i've been freaked-OUT by how Jamaica has *join-ed* the internet-age
..the technological & communication advances are mind-blowing
.....compared to what was going, since my last trip.... 18-months ago

was WiFi-ed from my camera
to my tablet
and uploaded to YouTube
via
a new Digicell phone
[[[ i purchased the other day ]]]

i was about 40+ yards from the cell phone

upload speed..??? .... Good Good GOOOOOOOD...!!

but the Digicell *plan* that i'm using costs about Ja$100 per day

Black is the *thing*
you could *spot* those who worked at the court, 'cause most were dressed in black

personnel walk/stride/strut with a certain *air8 about 'em.
..kinda sorta reminds me of the supervisory-type folks at the resorts
...... a lot of folks walking around with their heads high, high,
noses stuck-up, as if they gonna scoop/snatch flying bugs

as they glide thru the corridors

must pass thru check-point
..bags searched
.....your attire is examine::: not *proper*, then no entry

'tis a personal injury thing-y

landlord was knocked off his motorcycle.,, blah blah ... him hurt bad .... motorcycle TOTAL-ed
other driver was at fault
.......landlord sue-ing for what-ever

the case has been in court for the past FIVE YEARS...!!!..

neighbor-lady visit was *interesting* & fun

she showed me some old old OLD pictures i'd taken over the years
.....'twas fun seeing photos that brought back memories of days gone by
..........when the big-kids of today, were likkle likkle babies

she wanted me to consider
writing some kind of '''invitation letter.'''
for her daughter, blah blah blah

wanted to go to the Jamaican zoo
in St Elizabeths
