Over the years we fed, clothed and educated about a dozen pickney. Everybody in the district knew that Miss G, Mas Captain and Miss Izel would be a refuge for a homeless pickney. Some drifted away after a bit but several are still "my boys" and Miss G's "girls" all in their 40's now
