On our first trip to Negril, the higglers were a pain in the ass. After that we learned how to deal with them, so now its only a mild
inconvenience, and less in frequency. That said, on our last reach we spent a week in Treasure Beach. I think we were only approached
2 or 3 times, and the higglers were very polite and non-demanding.
