The ice truck came every day at 7:30 out at New Hope crossroad. I get in the jeep and buy a "straight" The ice was measured in long blocks called straights. About 150 lbs. You could also get 1/2 straight, 1/4 straight etc. We'd get a 1/2 straight every couple of days.Originally Posted by sunray
