Fun Holiday at Fun Holiday

just got back for our first all inc in Negril at Fun Holiday, we usually do Rooms during feb, but this was a second trip for 2015, we got a great rate for 8 days, the room was great , great bed and nice pillows, nice clean rooms, good food, great bar, good location, excellent staff, from Jennifer our housekeeping lady to Gary the bartender, met the owner and the manager. both of them plus the kitchen staff were excellent, coffee was ready at 6:00 a.m., we are ready to book for next June, soon come

we love Rooms for Feb , we cut back our 3 week feb trip to 2 weeks and will do an All Inc for late June for our 2nd 2016 trip, see you soon Jody, soon come

Thanks for telling us about Fun Holiday, we don't hear much about it here on the board. Do you happen to have any pics you can share?

Fun Holiday is a good AI bargain that is cheap enough you can still go eat and drink at other places and not feel like your wasting money.We had a great time there a couple years ago.

Fun Holiday has very mixed reviews on tripadvisor. You can often get a low priced AI vacation package ay Fun Holiday, but from my personal experience you get a very modest bare bones AI, and often times food and drinks just run out! If you go with the attitude that you will have some meals and drinks off the property (and be willing to pay that extra cost), you may be OK, otherwise you may be very frustrated and/or disappointed. I stayed twice at Fun Holiday on the AI plan, and after the second stay I decided that I won't return to Fun Holiday.
This month some Canadian tour operators are offering flight and hotel packages from Toronto, (with breakfast and airport transfers) for a lower price than air-only tickets. Now that is great value!

We stayed last July with our two sons (age 8&12)
With the right attitude things are great there!! We normally don't stay at the AI in Negril, this is our 13th trip in the past 4.5 years. We have rented cottages on both the beach and cliffs. Nirvana and White Sands are the only two that we have returned back to. The one thing I'm not a fan of at Fun Holiday is I don't like their draft red stripe, wasn't going to ruin anything for me, I just bought a few 6 packs, no biggy. The food was very good, lots local dishes, there wasn't a million choices as they weren't cooking for a 500 room AI big resort. We loved the staff, we loved the location and so we will be arriving back this Friday with the kids and my mom this time.

Jitterbug; last week Air Canada Vacations had Rooms on the Beach, Sea Splash and Coco LaPalm, 7 nights all for under $500 Cdn., including taxes based on double occupancy. (Flight, hotel, transfers, breakfast; however Sea Splash did not include breakfast).
