my brother and his wife stayed there for 2 februarys, we visited them, it was great, descent pool , nice rooms, but across the road, which to us is cluster ---, soon come
The Rayon is a very nice little hotel. They treat you very well and remember you upon return. You can relax and enjoy there. The food is excellent. Find a nice place across the road to drink and hang out and all is well. You don't have to go to the bar right across the street, any place over on the beach is more than happy to have your business. I just wish Rayon had room safes, that would be my one suggestion for an improvement.I do believe they have very good security, but now days I like to know if I put something away, that it will remain safe. Saying that, I have not had any problems there. If you like they will put your valuables in their office safe. We have stayed there 3 different visits. By the way, we have travelled to Jamaica many, many times and keep returning to Rayon. We have moved from large resorts, to the small enjoyable ones.
Rayon is my home away from home!!! The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are a nice size and have a mini fridge, flat screen TV's, bathrooms with a tub and shower head, very large sink to store items, large walk in closets. All rooms also have balconies or patios. The pool was just remodeled last year, there is a bar, pool table and hot tub. Also lots of places for lounging with very comfortable seating and hammock. Security is on the property and the taxi guys next door also look out for you. The food is EXCELLENT, breakfast is included and made to order as everything else, they also offer room service. The grounds are kept IMMACULATE!! The staff...TOP NOTCH A+ in customer service, very helpful, professional but yet warming enough to make you feel like family. Ms. Pansy the owner is almost always on site and she hand picks all the food herself.
