'cause THAT Ja-economy stuff is Jamaican voters' bizness

i *help* the Ja-economy with my US-tax dollars ---- e.g., USAID money, and other USofA government & NGO monies that trickle down there.

Frankly, I'd be more concerned with setting off the K9's in US Customs.

Chris, tru dat. years ago we saw a K9 hit so hard on a bag of a young man that was at the same resort as we were pull so hard he almost pulled the officer down.

We didn't see the young man after he was escorted away again.

From my understanding (and I was a CO in a prison that used such dogs) K9's are trained to go after the scent of RAW, unsmoked marijuana. They could care less about "residue" on you from smoking previously. While a forgotten spliff in your shirt pocket is certainly not a good thing, I've been around drug dogs numerous times after having smoked within a short period of time, and never been given any attention whatsoever. I'm not the least bit concerned about getting pulled aside because I smell like ganja smoke coming from Jamaica, but you can be rest assured every piece of luggage and every belonging is gone over with a fine tooth comb to be sure not so much as a stray stem or seed rides to the airport with me. YMMV

Customers make their own decisions about what a product is worth to them. Stop and smell the roses; take time when choosing a merchant you would like to do business with. The roadside rush is rarely a smart purchase.

Think of it like cleanliness . Would never want your mouth in something that another mouth has been on.

Very personal !people do all kinds of disgusting things with their mouths.

You see how ja only eat at certain cook shops etc etc
    Cleanliness .

One of the best sub's I had was purchased right from a Rastafarian's mouth. Shared it with him, saved the rest. It was so big,and I smoke so little, I only needed 1 for the whole week. He was overpaid,I was happy to over pay and had no left overs to deal with.

    They didn't spend your money!

    Cap
A $150 1/4 Oz? I can get a full Oz for that, if not cheaper, at home! $200 an oz for stuff I'd put up against any "high grade" or "medical" they're growing on the island. Prices are dropping because of legalization. There's a lot of legally grown decent domestic product being illegally dumped on the streets, lowering prices.

The legal market is too tightly regulated and more importantly, too small so prices remain artificially inflated. Imagine what would happen if every liquor store only sold a couple of the most expensive top shelf brands? The average "Joe" in the legal states are not getting their stash at a dispensary. Dispensaries are very much "boutique operations" at this point.

I corrected my friend when he said "ah man I got ripped off!". I reminded him he got what he agreed to pay for so nobody ripped him off. He agreed on the price. He didn't have to buy it.

I got the impression they didn't enjoy their trip and won't be back. Some people just don't know how to deal with hustling...which is their own fault, but it's sad because here's another group that won't likely return.
