Which Riu in negril

Have friends going with family on a budget but want all inclusive we have suggested grand pineapple or Riu. I hear usually good about Riu. There are two I know. Which is better and which is on the main part of the 7 mile. Thanks

Follow up to Riu question. I realize both are on bloody bay. This family has a 14 and 16 year old. Don't need activities just some other kids their age hanging around . Any suggestions?

You are correct, the Riu's are quite a hike away from the rest of the world that is Negril. If you are set on an all-inclusive, I think Grand Pineapple is a better choice. That section of beach has a lot more to offer, Although it does get quiet after 9:00 pm, there is plenty of activity either way you walk on the beach. Another choice would be Legends, and buying their AI option. It is reasonable priced, food and drinks are good, although you may not get the selection of the other places. Some boardies here will bash the place, but I have stayed there and have had a great time. Micheal the beach security guy watches like a hawk, no one will mess with the kids. You can also take their free shuttle up to Samsara, Legends sister property on the cliffs, and use the facilities there. Good luck with your search!!
