    Caribbean Airline Notice

There is a notice on Caribbean Airline website that says Jamaica Air Space is closed. All their flights today are suspended. Anybody know whats going on? There is nothing on the news that I can find.

Hi Mo, that 's interesting - I couldn't find any other report of this either... Rob?

May be a financial or political event for Caribbean airlines only. All AirCanada flights to Ja have left and are in flight.

Someone just told me that it is an air traffic controller strike.

The Norman Manley website flight arrivals section shows Caribbean Airlines flights either arrived or confirmed - could it be a hack or a hoax on the airline's website?

Website is still showing the notice. Maybe it was a hack.

We heard it's because of an air traffic control strike.

I checked Arrivals and Departures on the MBJ website, and flights are landing and taking off, some delays - actually, it was pretty impressive the number of "on times"!
Same for Norman Manley Airport in Kingston. All looks pretty normal!
