So after great huts was kanopi house.. And I tell it like it is so here we go!! This is when we meet our driver honey, drop the h you know how it go.. Anyway honey was called by great huts for us and became our main driver in porty.. So we get to kanopi house and we ask to see the rooms available as I had mentioned in my email... I wanted to pick in person and not book based off of pictures!! They said this would be fine.. So after the tour we told her the one we wanted and she said she would have to call the boss.. Um ok... She came back and basically said that we have to take one of the most expensive rooms.. And the boss would be coming in a couple days to stay in the room we wanted!! At this point I had enough of the bull****... I wasn't gonna pay 500$ for a room... And not even all inclusive... So I said you know what it's fine we will find something else!! Called up honey And asked him to pick us back up and find a place... After about 5 minutes of waiting in the driveway she comes running up to us about the same time as honey came back... Told us that the boss would give us a good discount on one of the other rooms.. So we still ended up paying $250 a night... Only reason I didn't pack up and keep moving was those kayaks on the blue lagoon!! Little did I know the property next door had way nicer kayaks!! That's where I will be staying next reach instead... We seriously spent all day in the water went way past monkey island spent hours in the lagoon itself... we paddled to shore to check out what kinda wares they were selling .. One really big dude offered to sell me some ganja so I was like yeah, Iam on my second week here and expecting close to an OZ for my 2000 JA and he hands me 2 little little bags... I look at him and say what the **** is this... Try to hand it back and of course he won't take it and says the cops were just here put that **** away... Guess what I only had 1000 on me... He said it's ok just bring it back later.. I said whatever man Iam not giving you anymore cash unless you give me a lot more herbs.. And as I walked away one of his buddies stuck a necklace into hand and said pay me when you pay him.. I just laughed, and guess what I never came back!! Yeah I later felt bad about the necklace, but maybe the dude will learn not to be soooo damn pushy!! So, burnt from that little deal we head back up to get ready for dinner.. Call up honey and head to the Italian Job in town.. Had a decent meal and decided to check out the rooftop bar... And since the sun was just going down they were no where near open... And not to mention the weird brothel vibe I got from it... So Iam kinda glad it was closed.. Just went back to the market for some ginger wine and a bottle of OP! Then we head back to the room and I ask honey if he can get me a better deal than down at the blue lagoon... He stopped at a little rum bar and came out with one of those black bags that I love!! And it was packed full! The smell was great, some of the best I had on the island.. The next day we decide to do the rio grande.. Where I live we float the river a lot.. And believe it or not a lot of the scenery looked similar.. Minus the warthog taking a dump in the river as well as the rasta building a bamboo raft... It just wasn't that exciting to me.. We also did sommerset in the same day... Not sure how to put this, I loved it there, the color of the water is unreal... BUT it's like a rundown amusement park in my eyes.. They should have kept it more natural... Maybe one little restaurant and bar would be cool.. But yeah I don't even think you can swim anywhere you want... You have to take a boat ride to the waterfall... But it is gorgeous! It's like the typ of scenery that disneyworld tries to recreate.. Expect everything is very real..
