Exploring the Island

So me and my wife have been going to Negril for 7 yrs now and we do 14 - 16 days in Feb. I realize this might be a terrible thing to say but as much as I love Negril we got a little bored last year. So we did a little exploring and found little bay. And I realized there are some way beautiful places outside Negril. Here are some pics I took in little bay.

so this year we are doing a week in Negril and a week in Port Antonio. I am wondering any one got any good tips on other good places to explore and stay?

port antonio is a great choice. do you have a car? . . . it's layed out differently, with beaches and places spread . . . although public transport is easy . . . i'm going to be there in less than a month . . . for me, beach is the draw for negril, you won't find the same any where else . . .

ANY place and EVERY place in Jamaica is nice.

No car Jitterbug I am going to stick with cabs. And yes the beach is why I come to negril but I miss that feeling of not knowing anything about where I am going. And so trying to find it without leaving Jamaica. And still getting my negril fix too.

route taxis are just fine, they just don't come as often as in negril. and it's always just local fare. no hustling!! if you need a big socializing circle with boardies like in negril, you will be disappointed!!
