Is there anywhere in Negril to buy a propane BBQ or do we need to go to Mobay or Sav to find one?

We are staying two months and I need to be able to cook some of our meals. I am on a very restrictive diet that doesn't include many of the food offered in restaurants. No wheat, dairy, sugar or red meat.
I love the JMaican food especially patties and coco bread but can't have either.![]()

I can't think of a place that sells bbqs in Negril...maybe Foundation Imports but I haven't noticed any there...you'd be better off getting one in Mobay or Sav...more of a selection...
Best bet is three rocks and three pieces of log wood with a grill on top.
And someone who knows how to cook that way <wink>

What Accompong said is a good work around. You can get replacement grates st your local home improvement store of various sizes, depending on your needs. Light stainless steel or heavy cast iron grates are both available.
We do a beach BBQ on our Christmas trips for the family and friends and it's the best -- my Jamaican dad does the grilling so it beats out any other place! We usually just borrow one for the evening. I'm sure if you ask when you get there, somebody will certainly be able to help you -- not too sure about a propane grill but an old fashioned grill should be able to be found.
