I guess unless you're Jamaican the one day passes don't apply. That seems like discrimination to me! And I thought it would be the tourists they were wanting to attract. Hmmmmm! Oh well. Obviously I was wrong. Will still have a great time, as always and will enjoy using that kind of money for lots of other things!
Instead of looking at it as discrimination or 'the finger' toward yourself/selves, see it as a fair chance for locals to attend something that many Jamaicans (most?) don't have the employment opportunities YOU have, to afford the retail price. Some antonyms for the word discrimination: equity, fairness, justice.
Oh I don't think of it as a finger towards myself because of the local rate; I feel we are getting the finger/shaft because it is pay $269 for a 4 day pass or don't go; especially after there were $40 one day tickets available when the CC was in Colorado. I totally agree with a locals rate 100%.

~Just my two cents worth - I mostly only comment on places I've seen and or eaten at personally.
Lola, I wasn't really serious about the discrimination statement, though I did think it was more the tourists that they were trying to attract. Even at $25 for the Jamaicans I think is quite high since I'm sure many of them don't make that much in a day. Maybe that's why I am quite the generous tipper when I am there to try and help them out the best I can (sometimes tipping at 40-50%). And I do agree with CosmicMoose that $95 for one day is still quite high (no pun intended!)
