A little off the topic I know but, I wanted to share something about Mystic Bowie the person. One of the things he did this past summer was to host a Summer Camp in Accompong Town where the primary school students could learn more about their own Culture (as Maroon History is not part of the school curriculum). At the close of the camp, Mystic Bowie took the entire Summer Camp attendees to Treasure Beach for a Fun Day at his expense. Some of the children, although living in Jamaica, had never been to the ocean. Here is a short clip of that day. Hope you enjoy it.
