    Day 3 in Negril

We walked from Mirage out to Jus Natural for breakfast. We stopped at Out of Town Bakery for a few patties for later in the day. Around noon we took a route taxi toward town but were stopped by a blockade getting there. So we walked up to Red Ground to visit with our wood carver friend Markie. By the time we came back from Red Ground, the road was open. Did a little swimming in the ocean and the pool and headed up to LTU for a sunset dinner. Well, there wasn't much of a sunset today and the way that LTU is situated, you can't see it anyway, even though you are right on the water. The food was great We had specials of the day, which were much more reasonably priced than the regular menu. Janet had snapper stuffed with callalu and cheese and I had the jerk Jack fish. $14 each.
    Regards,
    Bob

Good stuff! How long does it take to walk to Just Natural from Mirage? We usually take taxi from that area.

Is that fried green plantain being served with the ackee and calaloo?

I'm guessing about 20 to 25 minutes. By the time we got back to Mirage we were ready for the ocean. It was hot! I did get a side of plantains, but those are a couple of biscuits in the photos.
