I thought it could be used to refer to someone who eats any food, no? Or greedy? Testing my memory from early 90s when I worked with a Jamaican from Kingston.

Brown stew is soooo good...I don't find it all that sweet...more of a soy sauce based taste with spicing. If you like a sweet sauce...when you order fried chicken in Jamaica (except for KFC) they love to COAT the chicken in a fricassee sauce (also called gravy)...I have to ask to get it without as I don't like sweet based sauces...
As far as the meaning of "likkey likkey"... depends on who you ask and in what context or even where you are on the island. No worries if you say it wrong as a visitor...most will just laugh and correct you if you get it wrong. Sense of humour is wicked here!
